Cut the Carbon
Who
we are
- Cath Hassell MSc has 25 years experience
in the UK building industry, 8 years of which has involved training
building and housing professionals, students and members of the
public about sustainable construction and personal carbon literacy.
She has her own environmental consultancy, www.ech2o.co.uk
- Simon Corbey MSc is a Chartered
Surveyor and has delivered sustainability
training to schools and colleges for
10 years.
Our ambitions
- To visit at least 200 schools in
2008 and deliver Cut the Carbon training.
- To give these schools all the materials
and teacher's packs, so they can easily repeat the training. Packs
contain all the answers, clearly worked out in kgCO2
and fully referenced.
- To make available the training
and board game as a complete package, as a remote teaching tool.
- Develop a downloadable version
of the game, in different languages, for use in school's IT suite
or at home. We have a prototype version already.
- Develop the game further and launch a stand alone
game.
